Homes Amy Thomas The person responsible for the care of Arc-Tek clients is Amy Thomas. Since 2004 she has been the coordinator, counselor, caregiver and concierge for all of the people who have asked Arc-Tek to build them a custom home. She keeps clients up-to-date on construction progress, fields questions, and generally serves as a bridge between vendors and clients. Even after the occupancy permit has been issued and the punch list items are checked off, she stays in touch with the home owners. She keeps extensive records on every house and she’s always available for tracking down an elusive piece of hardware. Amy’s first experiences in construction were with her father when she was quite young. She spent weekends on job sites watching him install drywall and she thinks she has gypsum board in her blood. After graduation in Manassas, she has been steadily moving south looking to find the peace and quiet she knew growing up in West Virginia. She worked for a glass company that specialized in sunrooms and learned a variety of construction tricks there. She joined Arc-Tek in 2004 and swiftly learned the ins and outs of residential contracting. Amy is now lives in the Countryside community on Lake Anna. For a person in love with peace and quiet, Amy is a paradox. Almost every sunny weekend finds her traveling with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycles. She loves taking her Low Rider up twisty roads in the Smokey Mountains When she takes her vacation she also takes her bike and heads for the scenic Maggie Valley in North Carolina.
